Lush haul

Every year me and my family got to center parcs. And as I live on a narrow boat I don't have the luxury of a bath, sadly only a shower. So as a treat i got to lush for some soaps, bath bombs and shampoos for the holiday.

This year I decided to go for just soaps and shampoo, and I have some bath bombs already.  Lush is one of my favourite shops on the high street, not only is it all cruelty free, but the majority of there products are vegan, and they are also Eco friendly. If you have read some of my other blogs you will know that I am vegan, so I love shopping there.
I have some personal favourites which I buy every year, they are just my go to items, but this year I have gone for two different ones, similar but different.

The first soap which I brought this year is the Lush Mechanic, this soap smells amazing, its not the usual smell which I would go for but it smells like blackcurrants which I do like. The soap also looks amazing, I have used this soap before so I know that it has a roughness to it when using it which helps with rough hands. One of the reason I brought this soap again this year is because working in retail I suffer from rough hands, as I have to work a lot of deliveries. I feel that this is going to help soften my hands. I also purchased this soap as this is my husbands favourite soap.
Lush also do another soap similar called the gardener, it looks like the Mechanic soap but this time it has a watering can on the front of it. There is a slight citrus smell to it, however I don't think it is meant to. I am interested in trying this one to see if it is similar to the other one or if it has its own distinctive qualities.  I wish there was more that i could say about this soap but once i try it i will be sure to let you all know. I am actually really excited about this one.
The last soap which i got is called Sandstone, I would post a photo of it from there website however they have seemed to change the design and I currently have the old one. To be fair both do look amazing. Also I have never actually brought this soap before I was given the opportunity to try it out in store, and I have to say this may now be my favourite soap. I used to be a huge fan of the Bohemian soap, which has a citrus smell, however this one smells even better. Still having that citrus smell but with some texture to it, like the mechanic soap. It has actual sand in it giving you and roughness to your hands to get off any dry/dead skin. My husband has yet to see it, so i cant wait for him to try it, as his favourite is the mechanic. One thing i do want to mention is that the people at lush a really helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond to help me with the soaps i was looking for. Not only this but as i was talking to one of there colleagues explaining why I was purchasing the soaps and shampoo, he gave me a huge piece of this soap and a gift. It was so nice of them as I was willing to buy some.

The last thing which I brought was the big shampoo. I look forward to buying this every year, as i have already explained i love anything with citrus in it, and this screams lemon. The sea salt in this shampoo helps with my fine hair loads, it also gives it a natural wavy look. Super excited to go on holiday just so i can start using it.

The reason why i haven't brought any bomb bombs this year is because I was given some for a gift from my family this included butterbear, luxury lush pud, as well as the snow fairy shower gel. What is your favourite product or products from lush, let me know as i would love to know what they are like for buying them.
