Creating something new

So for the last few years i have been creating c2c patterns, and i have always wanted to create other patterns. So i have started making cross stitch patterns. And im loving it.

As you all know im a huge harry potter fan, so when i decided that i was going to start creating cross stitch patterns, of course it had to be harry potter related. I love harry potter and the prizoner of azkaban, and wanted to create something repesnted it. I have played around with this pattern a could of times and i suoper happy with how it has come out. I have also created this as a c2c pattern as i loved it so much and its my next project to make when i get 5 minutes. I like ho i have got the foot prints to go around the text nicely. I did think about just having the words, having the scroll as as a background works alot better, it brings the photo together nicer.

In my spare time, i like to play computer games to switch off, and one game i love to play is sims. I have loved playing it as a child, so this is were my second idea came from. I haven;t made this into a c2c pattern yet, but i am thinking about doing it. Im just not sure how i want it. I am thinking of designing it like a pillow, so maybe the text on the back on the pillow. But thats just a quick idea.
When creating any of these cross stitch patterns, i didn't want to make them super hard, with stupid amount of colours. This pattern has the most colour changes. But i think it work well really nicely.

Yes it's another harry potter pattern, sorry im obsessed with harry potter. One thing that i would change about this pattern now looking at it, is the colour of harry's jumper i think it should of been a shade of red, but again im sure people can change it, if you want to, when making it. I think im might try and make Ron and Hermione, but not sure yet. What do you guys think?

Do any of you huys cross stittch? I would love to see your finished items. Also what other patterns would you love to see?

I am currently running a competition over on my facebook page, where you can win a pattern of your choice. All the instruction are over on my facebook page so go and check it out. Competition ends 24th July.

If you don't want to miss out on any upcoming pattern you can subscribe to my mailing list.
